Do you travel?

Yes, I do! Based out of Corinth, NY I typically service the surrounding areas in Saratoga and Warren counties. Locations outside these counties may require a travel fee. You can always contact me to discuss.

Where do you take your photos and at what time?

For outdoor photos, I have a wide variety of locations to choose from in my service area. I’ll work with you to determine your setting type and can provide you an assortment of options. Outdoor photos occur during the “golden hour”, which is the hour or so before sunset. I do have a home studio in Corinth, NY if you are looking for an indoor setting. Studio sessions can be done during the day or evening. I also can always come to you if you are looking to have photos in or around your home.

how far in advance should I schedule a session?

Depending on the season, I typically book 1-3 months out. Summer and fall session fill out fast, so contacting me to put a tentative date on the schedule is recommended. For Senior Session, it is highly recommended to book in the early summer after their junior year to secure a date before any school yearbook requirements are due (mid-late fall typically).

how Do I schedule a session?

Is there anything I should know before scheduling?

Before contacting me about scheduling, take some time to look over portfolios on my website or recent sessions on my social media platforms so that you get a feel for my photography style. My style consists is bold with vibrant colors that can be either casual/candid or more portrait-like in style. It is also important to have an understanding of my session pricing.

Am i required to put a deposit down?

At this time, I do not require a deposit to reserve a session. Full payment for each session is due at or before the session.

will we own the copyright to our session images?

No, I retain the copyright to all images that I take; however, you will receive a personal print release to use the images for personal printing and social media.

what if the weather is horrible?

If the weather takes a turn for the worst (rain/thunderstorms/wind) then we will reschedule for the next available date. We can decide together the day before or day of the session whether it is a go or no go!

how long after our session until we can view our images?

Within the week after our session, a proof gallery will be provided for you to select your favorite images for me to perform final edits on. After selection, your selected images will be available on your final online gallery in 2-4 weeks.

Why does it take so long?

It is common for me to take between 200-500 (sometimes even more!) photos per session. In order for me to set up a proof gallery, I look at each photo and narrow/cull it down to the best photos, which then all get a preliminary edit for exposure, cropping, and basic color/tone correction before they reach your eyes. Final images go through a more rigorous editing process where more specific details are removed or added. On average, it take between 2-4 hours to produce a proofing gallery and then between 10-20 minutes per image for final editing. Each photo is a work of art to me and I intent to put as much love and heart as I can into the creative process for each one!

Will my images be posted on social media sites?

I do occasionally use session photos to post on social media and on add to the collection on my website. I will ask you for your permission in my pre-session questionnaire. I will include a model release in your contract if you agree to allow me to post any of your photos.

can I purchase prints, canvas and other items from you?

You sure can! Every online gallery is linked up to where you can purchase various wall art prints and canvases from the professional USA based print lab I work with. Additional items, such as photo albums and sport package items (keychains, magnets, bottles/mugs, vinyl banners, etc.) can be ordered on request. As I calibrate my workspace to professional labs equipment so you will receive the best quality prints.
